The US HAEA Listserv - DiscussHAE Welcome to our private email support group for HAE patients, family members, and care givers. This email group provides an open forum for information sharing, emotional support, and frank discussions on issues facing the HAE patient community. Our Listserv is an online patient support group within which HAE patients disclose and share personally identifiable information and private matters concerning their medical condition. The US HAE Association values your privacy - we take great efforts to ensure that any personally identifiable information will never be disclosed to an outside party.In this regard, this is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. It is also a closed list, which means you can join in only one of two ways: 1)if you have HAE, your subscription will be held for approval until you have signed up as a member of the US HAEA at http://www.haea.org/hae_form.php. 2)if you are a relative of someone with HAE, your subscription will be held for approval until your relative who is an HAEA member emails us and verifies your relationship. So please sign up as an HAEA member or have your relative who is an HAEA member verify your relationship by emailing info@haea.org within 7 days. If we do not receive a response within that time, your request will be cancelled. If you miss the deadline, feel free to contact us again. We want to include everyone in our Listserv while providing a safe place to share information. We hope you will make lasting connections here with those who share your HAE struggles and triumphs. Using DiscussHAE
To post a message to all the list members, send email to discusshae@listserve.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to DiscussHAE
Subscribe to DiscussHAE by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
