Welcome to the Patient and Family Advisory Council Network! We created this email discussion list as a way for people to ask and share information and ideas as they work to build or sustain patient and family advisory groups at their medical center. The list is open anyone who is interested in starting a patient or family advisory council for a hospital, who is a patient or family advisor, or who leads one of these groups. Note that we do not limit membership to family members or patients -- medical staff who are members, leaders, or interested in starting these councils are also welcome. Our discussions cover a wide range of topics related to starting and sustaining patient and family advisory councils, as well as issues related to promoting Family Centered Care in a hospital or medical center. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the PFACnetwork Archives. You must use your password to view our archived messages. You can select your own below, when subscribing to the list, or you can have one chosen for you. The system will also email you the password if you lose or forget it. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)

Subscribing to PFACnetwork
Subscribe to PFACnetwork by filling out the following form. If you do not receive a response indicating that you have successfully subscribed within 3 days, email the list administrator by clicking the link to "joy.bennett at cchmc.org" at the bottom left corner of this page. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. It also allows you access into the listserve's archives, to view old discussions. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
