Hi all.
I picked up a bag containing solid state 5R4 and 5U4 several years ago. They are built like battleships, fully metal encased, and with solid metal bases.  The 5R4's have 3-pin bases, and are labled ST, S5019, 1N1239, 1K on their sides, and the 5U4's are 8 pin, and labled ST, S5018, IN1238, 3L.  I'm fairly certain that the ST is the manufacturer.

Can anyone help me ID these devices and tell me if they are quality replacements (or junk).

Thank you -- Bob  K4SSS
