Hi to the List,
I was talking to a fellow on 40M; he was using an Icom
IC718, and I was using my KWM-2A. I had called CQ and he answered; I never
changed my frequency (rig had been on for at least 30 minutes). He said my
voice sounded normal during the QSO. But to me his voice was much too
low and growly in pitch; I knew I could tune him in, but I didn't change because
I thought we would just end up chasing each other. What was the problem
here? Previous contacts have not elicited this problem.
