CABARET AUDITIONS THIS
SUNDAY AND MONDAY DECEMBER 2 & 3 Stage Left Theatre Company, in collaboration with Medina
County Arts Foundation, will be holding auditions for Kander and Ebb’s Cabaret. This dark and provocative musical
will be presented cabaret style at the Cabaret

prepare one or two songs from the show, not to exceed three minutes. An
accompanist will be provided. No recorded music or a capella. A headshot and
resume is strongly suggested but not required. All roles are available. Emcee – The odd
and very flirtatious Emcee of the sleazy Kit Kat Klub. Voice: Tenor Sally Bowles – A brash,
sexy, youthful looking English singer/dancer at the Kit Kat Klub. Voice: Alto, Big Belt
necessary Clifford Bradshaw – A
young American writer who teaches English lessons. Voice: Baritone No
dancing required. Fraulein Schneider- An older
German woman who rents rooms in her house. Voice: Alto No
dancing required. Herr Schultz- A kindly,
older Jewish greengrocer who rents a room from Fr. Schneider. Voice: Baritone/low
tenor (high E to low G) No dancing required. Ernst Ludwig: A streetwise
German who pays Clifford for English lessons. Voice: Baritone (limited
vocal role) No dancing required. Fraulein Kost- A tough,
