[NEohioPAL] Pickin' Some Prine!

What better way celebrate to live in this "Big Ol' Goofy World," than to get together to play and hear some great music? Wednesday, December 5th at 8:00 PM, four great acts will be taking the stage at the legendary Beachland Tavern, 15711 Waterloo Rd. The reason for this is to have a great time paying tribute to the songs of John Prine.

John Prine has been writing, performing and recording some of the most prolific songs of our time, ("Angel From Montgomery," Sound of the Speed of Loneliness," Dear Abby," "Sam Stone"), and has influenced songwriters and performers of every genre. Countless songwriters will tell you that Prine inspired them to begin songwriting in the first place! His songs are accessible, sometimes hilarious, sometimes pointed and always enjoyable.

To make matters better, it's only $5! Why get gouged at the chain stores and malls when you can hear great music performed by great local musicians for dirt cheap? You can pay at the door or go to the Beachland website and order tickets there. Doors open at 7:30 pm.

Performing will be:

* The Easy Street Rounders, (Magnolia, Ryann Anderson, Michael McDonald and Josh Stevens), taking part in this event are: * G.S Harper, (a prolific songwriter in his own right), and the Lonesome Tomatoes; * Tim Wallace, of the wild and wonderful Smokin Fez Monkeys, has long been one of Northeast Ohio's great songwriters and performers--whether solo, or with the band. * Ben Gmetro of the Dreadful Yawns and Cleveland Country Band. Ben is an incredible talent that more people need to be aware of!

Hope to see you there!

Peace,
Michael
