[NEohioPAL] Shaker Heights Keyboard Series - Final Concert of the Season [Correction]



Leslie Smith, organist at Euclid Avenue Christian Church and student of Todd Wilson at CIM, will perform the final concert of this fall's Midday Music Mosaic at Christ Episcopal Church, 3445 Warrensville, Shaker Heights, this Wednesday, December 19.  The concert, which begins at 12:15 pm and lasts about 45 minutes, will feature works of Craig Phillips (Toccata on Antioch), Bach, and Demessieux.  Admission is free, and you are highly encouraged to bring along your lunch!

Leslie C. Smith, age 21, is Organist and Assistant Director of Music at Euclid Avenue Christian Church in Cleveland, Ohio. She is studying organ with Todd Wilson while pursuing a Bachelor in Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Ms. Smith was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2001 she recorded a self-titled album with the Peachtree Handbell Quartet. Prior to attending the Cleveland Institute of Music, Ms. Smith was awarded a scholarship from the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) and was most recently named the 2006 recipient of the Henry Fusner Award for achievement from the CIM Organ Department.

The series will begin again on February 13th, and recur the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, until May.
