Auditions for OUR TOWN will be held at
Church of the Saviour, 2537 Lee Road, Cleveland
Hts. Saturday Jan. 5th from 9-12. The play directed by
Dick Meadows will run the first weekend of March. Appointments not
needed.
Dr. Richard Meadows earned both his MA in theater and PhD in American Studies from Case Western Reserve University. He was active for several years in the New York City theater scene performing at Circle in the Square under the direction of Jose Quintero as well as in summer stock and documentary films. Dr. Meadows also took scene study classes with Lee Grant and Uta Hagan at New York City's prestigious Herbert Bergoff Studio.
Since returning to Cleveland, Dr. Meadows has directed over 50 plays on college, community, and professional stages including Theatre in the Valley, The Jewish Community Center, Cain Park, Cuyahoga Community College, Church of the Saviour, Lakewood High School
Most recently, Dr. Meadows directed an acclaimed production of The Crucible in 2006 under the auspices of Arts in the Cathedral.
