This is a play which deals with a young Jewish girl who learns that love comes from rather different sources. Izzy is a young girl, employed at a lower East Side of New York book store. She is enamored with an established author and wishes to get more acquainted with him. Her “Bubbie” or grandmother has other ideas. Sam, a pickle maker and salesman, is the apple of Bubbie’s eye.
