When May and Charlie join hundreds of Americans who go to Mississippi
in the summer of '64 for a voter registration drive, they have no idea their
lives are about to change forever. Years later, May and Charlie still search
for a way back from the damage done to them during that long ago
"Freedom Summer." Bourbon at the Border takes a look at the lives of
two ordinary people who give everything they have to the African
American freedom struggle, and pay the highest price.
