Opera Cleveland and new Artistic Director Dean Williamson, will hold auditions for local singers for main stage productions and outreach programs for its upcoming 2008 season and future productions on the following dates and times:

LE NOZZE DI FIGARO: The State Theater, Playhouse Square Performance Dates: Sept. 26, 28 and Oct. 4, 2008

HANSEL AND GRETEL: The State Theater, Playhouse Square Performance Dates: Oct. 31, Nov. 2 and 8, 2008

Outreach Duet and Ensemble Programs performed at local locations in Northeast Ohio.
· Auditions. All interested persons must audition. Everyone must sing two contrasting selections of your choice, each of approximately 2 minutes in length, with a least one in Italian. The other selection may be an opera or oratorio aria, or an art song. An accompanist will be provided.
· Location. Auditions will be held in the Green (east) Rehearsal Room of the State Theatre at Playhouse Square. Please enter through the State Theatre Stage Door, 1650 Chester Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
