[NEohioPAL] AFRICAN DANCE and DRUM classes for ALL!

African Soul International, a leader in innovative cultural arts, is presenting its spring classes for youth and adults.

Classes will be held at the state-of-the-arts studios of the Masonic Temple and Performing Arts Center, in the Dancing Wheel Studios (3rd floor).  To see a PD photo of our Kwanzaa Camp, follow this link http://www.cleveland.com/photooftheday/index.ssf?/photooftheday/more/122707.html

Classes begin January 12- February 16, March 1- April 12, April 19-May 24 (with a final recital in May).  Each class will take students through the history and culture of a particular ethnic group (Mandinka, Susu, Fulani, etc) through the understanding of their dances, rhythms and celebrations.  Each session will focus on a different dance, so students will learn 3 before the recital in the spring.  Live drumming accompaniment and drum instruction for participants.  Very exciting...kick the New Year off with African Dance, a physical, mental and spiritual workout!

Each 6 week session costs just $50 for adults, $40 for seniors and $30 for children, you can pay per class as well.  For more information about African Soul visit: www.africansoulinternational.org, or email: sistajewel@xxxxxxxxx
