ART HOUSE EXPANDS THE RANGE OF CREATIVE CLASSES.
Art House Inc. is in an exciting period of change and transition as we look to find a new Executive Director and Becky, the new Program Coordinator settles into her job.
Classes offered at Art House range from the visual art classics to movement based performance classes
to mixed media. Art House is "Going Green" by offering a handful of classes that transform recycled material, and found objects into personally relevant objects of beauty.
Ceramics, Acrylic and Oil Painting, Drawing and Relief Printing will co-exist side by side with Improvisation classes. Improve communication and speaking skills by taking Improvisation, a form of theatrical play with structured and safe rules for exploring human interaction and storytelling.
Children's classes include something for everyone. Pre-school children can explore in Toddler First Art Experience
. School aged children can get their hands muddy with Ceramics, explore visual art and theatre in Jungle Animal Mask and Movement or make their own masks and gadgets in
Superhero Workshop.
Art House has created a number of experiences for the whole family! Design and paint a masterpiece together to hang over the ping pong table in
Family Fresco. Drop by every third Saturday of the Month for Family Open Studio, February 16th, March 22, April 19th and May 17
th, 2008.
