Professional Earprompter class with Pete Ferry
This is a course for professional narrators and those who wish to become professionals to develop proficiency and experience in earprompter use. Many of us who use earprompter find it challenging and anxiety provoking, and wish we could provide better service to our clients. We wish that using the device were more pleasant, that is easier, and that we could narrate using it with greater accuracy, speed, and _expression_. This course will help you grant those wishes to yourself and to your customers. We will identify specific skills and technical issues about your techniques, the earprompter itself, your recording device and the scripts you are called on to narrate.
The course is offered in four sessions of three hours each. The fee is $40.00 per session, with a total class fee of $160.00.
The class will meet Feb. 11, 13, 18 & 20, 2008 (M, W, M, W) at a location in the Cleveland area to be announced.
The training is offered by Pete Ferry, a professional, on-camera narrator in the Cleveland market for over 20 years.
