Brunswick Alumni Community Theatre will hold auditions for “The Melody Lingers On,” a musical revue, on Sunday afternoon, February 17, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Brunswick Rec Center, and on Monday evening, February 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The Brunswick Recreation Center, is at 3637 Center Road in Brunswick. Auditions will be by appointment only and may be made by calling 330-725-6443 during normal business hours or early evening hours.
The revue features the well-known and popular music of Irving Berlin from both stage and film. There is also dialogue in the script. Singers should prepare a musical number and have with them the sheet music to be played by our accompanist.
Paula Donoian is the Vocal Director, Nancy Sprowls will be Director, and Donna Kronander will be the accompanist.
Callback sessions, as necessary, will be held during the last week of February, rehearsals will begin in March, and show dates are April 25, 26, May 2, and May 3.
