Due to popular demand, the premiere screening of
Johnny Wu’s film The Rapture
was sold out within 6 hours of going live. Therefore, The Ohio Independent
Film Festival has agreed to squeeze in a 2nd screening for everyone
who was locked out from the first. James V. Geier, Todd Metzendorf, Ray Elkin, Kyle
Znamenak, and Johnny K. Wu of The Rapture LLC proudly invite you to the 2nd
screening of the locally-produced independent sci-fi/anime-styled film The Rapture! We decided to screen the film at this Festival as a
gesture of thanks for their years of hard work supporting independent artists
in Tickets will go fast (as for the first screening), because
the theater can only accommodate a maximum of 200 people for each screening.
Although you didn’t get the tickets for the 1st screening, you
are still welcome to join us at the Reception Party, with complimentary
beverages and appetizers and great musical performances, (If you’ve been
to Johnny Wu’s previous premiere party for A Joker’s Card, you remember what a fun party it was.
And this one will be even better!) The Reception Party is scheduled for
Saturday, May 10th at 9pm – right after the 1st screening.

governmental officials from the State of - Leaders from the Business, Arts,

Rapture – which is already winning awards – is an
anime-styled sci-fi feature film written by Johnny Wu and James Geier, with
over 500+ visual effects, martial arts, wire-fu stunts, and of course, an
actual story! This is a great opportunity to support local
independent filmmakers and have a fun weekend together. We expect the
theater to fill up quickly AGAIN – due to limited seating capacity of 200
