[NEohioPAL] Garden Valley Library Opening Celebration - Cleveland Public Library, February 23
Cleveland Public Library announces the dedication of the new and relocated Garden Valley Library, 7201 Kinsman Road, Saturday, February 23, 1:00 p.m. Cleveland Public Library joins the revitalization efforts of the Garden Valley neighborhood. City officials, Library trustees, staff, and community will participate in the FREE and open to the public opening celebration. There will be music, stories, arts and crafts, performance poets, and refreshments at this program.
The new branch is part of Bridgeport Place, a new project by Burten Bell Carr Development Corporation. A computer laboratory, children's and teen areas, and a community meeting room are part of the new facility which has a youth focus. The 3,517 square foot store front branch will have 21 computers, including an adaptive technology unit for patrons with low vision needs, and a collection capacity of 10,000 items. The new service hours are Monday, 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. For more information, call (216) 623-2800.
