This event is family-friendly, date-friendly, group-friendly, teen-friendly, singles-friendly. Did we mention “friendly?”

COST: Admission $5 at the door. Food and drinks available for purchase.
Four local bands will perform at the Memorial Benefit Concert for Anthony “Ant” Smart at 6pm on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at the Bayard Grange, 22242 US Route 30 in Minerva. Admission is $5 at the door, and all ages are welcome. Doors open at 5:30pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Participating local bands include: Call Me Emergency (Art Rock), Absolve Thine Enemies (Hard Core), Super Sheep (Rock/Christian), and Catch the Memo (Worship). DJ and sound technician, Justin D., will perform between sets.
Nine-year-old Ant died December 17th, 2007, after being hit by a vehicle while he was crossing Route 39 after retrieving mail from the family’s mailbox. He was Dellroy Elementary School fourth-grade student who enjoyed basketball, fishing, swimming, bike-riding, cooking, baking, and playing cards with his grandparents. He was preceded in death by his mom. His surviving family members are many and include his dad, Randy, and his brother, Christian. Contributions in Anthony’s memory be made to the Anthony Smart Memorial Fund, in care of The Citizens Bank, 2 Smith Street, Dellroy, OH 44620, or at any Citizens Bank location.
