     NWT holds group auditions in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that require no preparation.  Actors of all experience levels are led through multiple improvisational exercises providing every participant equal opportunity to create through word, movement and song.  Audition focuses on the creative process not the product.  On working as an ensemble, not solo.

After this first level audition, callbacks will focus on individual roles/songs and working from the script

All individuals should arrive 15 minutes before starting time to register. Auditions begin promptly at the designated time. Anyone arriving after the starting time will be asked to audition at the next scheduled time. Participants should wear comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict movement and appropriate shoes for dancing.  For information, call NWT's Business Office, 216-961-9750.

“Listening to you, I get the music;

Gazing at you, I get the heat.

Following you, I climb the mountain;

I get excitement at your feet.”

Peter Townshend’s tale of a young boy’s journey from pain to triumph is the most electrifying evening of rock and roll ever to play in a theatre!  After witnessing the accidental murder of his mother's lover by his father, Tommy is traumatized into catatonia, and as the boy grows, he suffers abuse at the hands of his sadistic relatives and neighbors. As an adolescent, he’s discovered to have an uncanny knack for playing pinball, and when his mother finally breaks through his catatonia, he becomes an international pinball superstar.
The classic '60s rock opera by The Who includes the songs

“Acid Queen”, “Pinball Wizard” and “See Me, Feel Me.”
