The Jules
Verne classic film “20,000 Leagues Under
the Sea” was hailed as one of the most technologically advanced films of its
time using a new apparatus for underwater photography. It is the story of a team of scientists
investigating a series of naval disturbances believed to be caused by a sea
monster. They soon find that the
disturbances are caused by the Nautilus, a submarine piloted by Captain Nemo, a
hate-driven renegade seaman whose past is eventually revealed and
reconciled.
