In 1972 the Reform Movement made history with the ordination of Cleveland native Sally Priesand—today a bat mitzvah girl can realize her dream of becoming a rabbi.  This fascinating film, winner of the 2006 Emmy Award for Religious Programming, explores the rich history of women in the rabbinate.

The film will be followed by a discussion with Rabbi Rosette Barron Haim, The Temple-Tifereth Israel, Beachwood; Rabbi Rona Shapiro, Congregation Bethaynu,  Pepper Pike; and Rabbi Lauren Werber, B’nai Abraham Synagogue, Elyria.
