It is the dream of every Irish Dancer to qualify for the World Championships in Ireland. This year, ten students from the Tessie Burke School of Irish Dance, will realize this dream. Many hours of rigorous practice and dedication to local, state and regional competitions have gained them the honor of representing the United States at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Belfast, Ireland, March 2008. The Claddagh Irish Pub at Crocker Park in Westlake has teamed up with The Tessie Burke School to assist with this “once in a lifetime opportunity” by offering a friends and family day where 20% of the total check,

excluding alcohol, would be given to the Burke Dancers.  Take out orders will also be included.

The 20% donation must be confirmed when the order is place.

The event that will take place on March 5, 2008 will bring a night of Irish culture featuring:

Irish Dancers performing throughout the night, a Bagpiper, Irish Music, and of course genuine Irish Hospitality, Great Food and a sneak preview for St. Patrick’s Day.
