Tony Award-winning choreographer and tap dancer Savion
Glover is featured in the world premiere of Diaspora of the Drum by Cleveland
composer Eric Gould. Performing with the Cleveland Chamber Symphony and jazz
ensemble with African percussion, the piece will showcase Glover in spirited
tap solos that reflect the history of dance rhythms from Africa to the
Americas. Also featured is “The Starz and Stripes 4ever for Now”,
patterned by Glover after John Coltrane’s “My Favorite
