the Young Actors Ensemble (YAE) 2008

"Relative Connections"

For students entering grades 9-12 and 2008 high school grads

The Young Actors Ensemble is a class for a select group of students entering grades 9-12 and 2008 grads who want more intensive study in the craft of theatre performance. Collaboration, creativity and professionalism are emphasized as students learn acting, movement and vocal techniques culminating in a Young Actors Ensemble showcase performance that is open to the public. *Note: this is not a musical theatre class.

Audition Dates–
Returning 2007 YAE students: Sat. March 15 from 1:00 -3:00 pm
Open auditions: Sat. March 29 from 4:00-5:00 pm
If you are unable to make these audition times, another audition date has been set for Sunday, May 4, beginning at 4 pm. Please call for an audition appointment.

To schedule an audition time, call the Customer Service Center at 440-951-7500. (if unable to attend audition dates, please call.)

Auditions are for acceptance & placement into the program. ALL levels of experience will be considered.

Audition Preparation–

· Student should prepare a 1 minute contemporary monologue from a play or musical. Monologue must be memorized.

· There will also be a short interview with the Program Director.

· Please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled time to fill out paperwork.
