[NEohioPAL] A Tribute to the USO: Canton Cabaret Musical Dinner Theatre: May/June

Canton Cabaret Musical Dinner Theatre proudly presents A Tribute to the USO, an original production directed by Rose Forrester. The performances are scheduled for Fridays, May 16th and 30th with a 7pm dinner and 8pm show, and Sundays, May 18th and June 1st with a 1pm dinner and 2pm show. Tickets for dinner with show are $42.50, and show-only tickets are $25. A 10% discount applies for reservations of a table for eight. Tickets are available by phone at 330.499.6177 and by email at ccdtreservations@xxxxxxxxx. Show-only tickets will also be available at the door.  Dinner reservations required at least 48 hours notice. Standard, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu options are available.

Tribute recognizes the mission of the USO: to provide recreation, morale, and welfare-type services to uniformed personnel and their families. Northeast Ohio performers include Todd Cooper, Diana Daniel, Cody Wood, Joseph Ledford, Rose Forrester, Melissa Day, and The Average White Broads, who will provide entertainment as tribute performers portraying (respectively) Bob Hope, Ann Miller, Bing Crosby, Red Skelton, Kate Smith, Debbie Reynolds, and the Andrews Sisters. Dancing during the performances is encouraged!

All veterans in the audience will be recognized at each performance, and all area veterans’ groups are encouraged to represent and promote their groups and to display any literature or information at the shows. Please call Canton Cabaret’s Executive Director, Lois DiGiacomo, at 330.456.7397 to make arrangements for display.

The production site, Metropolitan Centre’s Grand Ballroom, has been restored to its 1926 grandeur, including the original chandeliers (photos at www.cantoncabaret.com). The venue is handicap accessible and offers free parking at the door.
