Cleveland Jazz Orchestra presents "THE GRAND WAZOO", with Howie Smith, Bob Fraser, and Jack Schantz.

 

Join us for this unusual and exciting musical event portraying Frank Zappa's foray into big band jazz fusion.  Some of the most accomplished musicians on the local scene will participate in these performances, including saxophonist Howie Smith, guitarist Bob Fraser, and Artistic Director Jack Schantz. The Frank Zappa music that will be performed was transcribed and arranged by bassist Dave Morgan, and includes such classics as Peaches en Regalia, The Black Page, Sofa, and Sinister Footware.

Cleveland Jazz Orchestra presents: "KING'S OF SWING" with Carl Topilow at Fairmount Temple. Take a trip down memory lane with the CJO and special guest Carl Topilow of Cleveland Pop's fame.  You'll enjoy classics from the Swing Era and a tribute to Benny Goodman.
