BREAK DANCE CLASSES MAY 3, MAY 10 WITH DRE LIVE FOR ONLY $5

 

CANAL FULTON, Ohio -- A break dance class with Dre Live, also known as Dre Borders, will be offered to all ages 2 – 2:45 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at The Turning Pointe School of Dance, 2387 Locust St. S. in Canal Fulton. If you miss this Saturday’s class, you still have another chance to stop by the studio at 2 p.m. next Saturday – May 10 – for another $5 class. Or come both days!

Cost is only $5 for a class with one of the only B-boys left still representing from Ohio’s 1980s era. Dre is co-founder of Illstyle Rockers. His theatrical credits include “Virtual Reality;” “From 8 Track to CD” (Prestigious Productions); “An Evening of Tap and Hip-Hop (Cleveland Public Theater); and “Hit the Breaks” (FSB Productions.) Video credits include Kid Rock’s “Welcome to the Party.” In 1996, Dre landed the lead speaking role in the independent feature film “Fishtales.” He has taught classes and workshops on B-boying at Crawford Dance Academy, Canton Players Guild, and Oberlin College.
