[NEohioPAL] "Nunsensations" opens the 50th Anniversary Season at Huntington Playhouse

“NUNSENSATIONS” TO OPEN 50TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON

AT HUNTINGTON PLAYHOUSE

The 50th anniversary season for Huntington Playhouse will open on May 8th with a production of the musical “Nunsensations”.  The production will run through June 1st  with performances on Friday & Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM with a Sunday matinee on June 1st at 2:00 PM.

The show is based on the success of “Nunsense” which many theatres in the area have done over the years.  In this version, the Sisters from the Mount Saint Helen’s Convent in Hoboken, New Jersey go out to Las Vegas in order to help one of their parishioners who promises to make a sizable donation to the convent if this one “favor” is done. The show is a cross between an old Vaudeville show and a Las Vegas review done with the Sisters.

The cast includes Nikki Barger, Brie-Ann Murphy, Kendra Payne, Tarah Reim, and Candace Russell and was directed by kevin Jospeh Kelly.  Heidie Herzeg is the musical director and Jennifer Glowe choreographed this very funny production.

Reservations are strongly recommended by calling the box office at 440-871-8333.

Huntington Playhouse is located at 28601 Lake Road in Bay Village, Ohio and is a licensed affiliate of the Cleveland Metroparks.  For more information, check the web site: www.huntingtonplayhouse.com
