Harvey S. Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio, is now accepting
applications for a Theatre Shop Foreman / Set Builder for the 2008-09
theatre season and school year. The position reports to and works very
closely with the theatre director on the design, plan and construction
of all scenery for theatrical production.
This position will be responsible for setting an appropriate work
schedule and recruiting a student crew to plan, build and strike
scenery. This position will also work closely with a student-centered
technical theatre board.
Firestone Theatre is a highly respected, pre-professional theatre
education program.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours generally scheduled
for weekdays between the hours of 3:30 and 7:00 p.m.
