The Cleveland State University Dramatic Arts department is excited to bring you: LOVE'S FIRE.  Love's Fire is a collection of short plays written by some of the major voices in contemporary American Theatre based on their perceptions of Shakespeare's Sonnets.  Writers such as John Guare, Tony Kushner, Eric Bogosian, Marsha Norman and Notkzake Shange created the pieces from their visions and the CSU Apprentice Company is lending their voices to bring it life.

We invite you to this opening weekend of Love's Fire for FREE. The show opens Saturday August 9th at 2:00pm and Sunday August 10th at 7pm. And if you say that you read about it on Neohiopal admission is FREE.  This production will open the fall semester for CSU but we are previewing it this weekend to round out the 2nd season of Cleveland State's triumphant Summer Stages.

Love's Fire is being fully mounted by the Apprentice Company of CSU to showcase the amazing work and training that has taken place over the summer.  The Company is made up exclusively of CSU theatre students who have been lucky to work with some amazing local and regional actors and directors this summer and are led under the guidance of Assistant Professor Holly Holsinger and Director of the Dramatic Arts Program: Dr. Michael Mauldin.
