Re: D.C. Job opportunities?

There is an official government job website www.usajobs.opm.gov .... If you type in the keyword "museum" to search for jobs, all sorts of museum jobs come up, including many DC museum technician jobs. I recently saw one for a mount maker. Having recently relocated to Florida from the Baltimore Museum of Art, I know the BMA often needs contract art handlers, etc. for special exhibitions. Hope this is helpful.

Subject: D.C. Job opportunities?

Does anyone know of any particular websites to check when looking for job
opportunities within the Washington D.C. area for art handlers/mount makers? Attempting to assist an incredible art handler/crate& mount maker within the Philadelphia area looking to move to D.C. in the near future. He prefers to
maybe stay within the non-profit sector, but is keeping his options open.

Anyone coming to Philadelphia should always check the Greater Philadelphia
Cultural Alliance Job Bank website: http://www.philaculture.org/jobs/job.cfm

Any leads or tips would be much appreciated...
