Just so everyone will know, I'm asking this question because I've been
asked to do so.
We are organizing a traveling exhibition and several of the objects are
oil paintings on wooden panel and oil on copper plate. The value of these
objects requires that we indemnify them and I was wondering if there has been
any new crate technology that will create a more stable environment for these
delicate objects? Standard wooden crates can be made stable enough to travel
these objects, but for the sake of indemnification, I wanted to see if anyone
had an alternative to the standard wooden crate. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
