Question about Sueded Polyethylene

A concern with the detetioration in reference to the adhesive on Benchmark's Sueded Polyethylene or felt has come up in my shop. The issue is that the sueded polyethylene or felt, for objects pin mounted upright at 90 degrees, will slide down the panel over time. Also there is a concern with building up layers of suede or felt and having the layers travel. Has anyone ever experienced this? We have decided to stitch the layers together and add a micro pin or two through the suede or felt to help prevent any moving. I feel that the stitching is too laborious. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks
