RE: polyethylene sheeting

Amie,

I just spoke to Margaret at Piedmont Plastics in New Orleans, LA and she has 10' x 100' x .004 food grade polyethylene in stock. It is about $70.00 a roll, but is good stuff. We use it to wrap crates and boxes where the plastic may come into contact with the object. It is almost transparent allowing us to see the object inside the package. Her number is 1 (800) 550-7898.

Subject: polyethylene sheeting

Does anyone have a good source for polyethylene (plastic) sheeting (for wrapping artwork and travel frames)?  It needs to be "food grade" or "virgin," 4 mil thickness, 12' W.

Thank you,
