To Richard Hinson,
Richard, I think I might have a source for your "shoulder nails".
If you can spare one nail, I would appreciate it very much. If you
will send to me at the below address I will endeavor to get back
to you as soon as possible. Thanks,
Drew Graham

Jerry,
We are having the same problem at the Museum of Fine Arts,
Houston. I've looked around and haven't had any luck finding the better
nails. If anyone has information about availability, please let us know.

Tried sending this yesterday and I guess in all the UPS confusion it got
lost.
So I'll try it again.
Years ago (Maybe as much as 8-10 years) United Mfrs. sold a "quality"
gallery nail. Now,
over the years, my supply is dwindling. I ordered some more but the
nails I received are not the same. Please click on the link below. The
shoulder nail on the left is what we bought years ago. The nail on the
right is what we just ordered. The nail on the left is far superior and
I can't find it any where. It nails true and will not bend or twist. The
nipple on the end keeps the shoulder area square. Has anybody seen these
nails anywhere? I'm down to my last couple of hundred and I'm starting
to panic!
