RE: taping museum glass

Kelly,

Tru-Vue says that a light adhesive frisket film is fine. They recommend removing any residue with a micro-fiber cloth and rubbing alcohol. Since the manufacturer recommends alcohol, I assume the surface is pretty tough. Best regards,

Subject: taping museum glass

I am packing several works on paper for shipping.  They are framed under Tru-Vue Museum Glass.  Normally, I would tape glass for shipping (they are prints, not pastels or charcoal), but this glass has a coating on the outside to eliminate reflections.  Does anyone know if this glass can be safely taped with low-tack glass skin tape?
