Years back PACIN or its predecessor published guidelines
for calculating how much Ethafoam to use and how to place it, to
absorb impact and vibrational shock and not transfer them to
crate contents, depending on the weight and shape of the contents. First to
teach me about this was Tim "Blues" Farley, then of Philadelphia Museum of Art
but now a consultant.
