Letter from the Chair: Just a reminder to you that PACIN will be having a workshop at this year?s AAM Conference. The Title of the workshop is, ?Object Loans: A Perspective, or The Life of a Museum Loan and How to Sleep at Night and Stop Worrying About It.? The workshop is on Thursday, May 1st from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The workshop will discuss issues concerning museum loans and share perspectives from both museum professionals and private art shippers. The discussion will include assessing travel worthiness, crating considerations, packing demonstrations, shipping methods, and budgetary considerations compared to object safety.
