installing art works. It tends to fail over time. This is caused by stretching
and deterioration. We now use stainless steel cable of varying gauges -

case. It was installed there about 14 years ago. Will that monofilament
eventually fail/break even though it's not exposed to sunlight or extremes of
temperature? In other words, should the monofilament be replaced every ? years
