I don’t know for sure, but I would
think polyester-based carpets would be your best bet, since some of the foam
products used for temporary painting/object movement and storage are
ester-based. Our painting cart just has a standard, hi-traffic carpet on it.

Does anyone know of a suitable carpet
material for use as padding on an A-frame painting cart? It has to be ok for
short term contact with objects, usually framed 2D work.
Nylon, polyester, rayon, hemp, etc?

Karen,
We stock FDA grade 3 mil poly, 10ft. wide
x 100ft. long, folded and rolled into a fairly tidy package. Contact me off
list with quantity, etc., and I’ll get you a current price.

Hello
all.
Can anyone give me a good source for 10' wide rolls of plastic that are clean?
I know a place in NYC but they do not ship or deliver to Boston.
