RE: carpet

Carpet's a no-no -- it attracts and hides dust and bugs.  Just pick up a piece, drop it on the floor and see through the dust mist.  Materials that are inert are preferable.  Best, Geri

I highly recommend a thick bushy shag, preferably made out of hemp fibers, which as we all know, are well known for their non-stick and non-abrasive properties....

Does anyone know of a suitable carpet material for use as padding on an A-frame painting cart? It has to be ok for short term contact with objects, usually framed 2D work.
Nylon, polyester, rayon, hemp, etc?
Thanks.

Karen,

We stock FDA grade 3 mil poly, 10ft. wide x 100ft. long, folded and rolled into a fairly tidy package. Contact me off list with quantity, etc., and I’ll get you a current price.

Hello all.

Can anyone give me a good source for 10' wide rolls of plastic that are clean?
I know a place in NYC but they do not ship or deliver to Boston.
