Although we are not an art museum, but rather a museum and science
center
- we have a mascot we've named "Murray the Mastodon." He appears in
literature and promotional printed matter, signage, lcd screens and on
tshirts, bday party invitations, etc. The kids have become quite
familiar
with him and ask for him, etc. We have had someone in costume at special
exhibit openings and events. Murray walks around and shakes hands and
waves, etc. We sell him as a stuffed animal in two sizes in our museum
gift shop. The kids love him.
