If you have not yet signed up for the program
the deadline has been extended a second
time to August 24.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF AAM TO
PARTICIPATE. And we're partnering with AAM to help you do it. It's true, some people just don't think about visiting a museum. Their behavior has nothing to do with the quality of your museum and everything to do with deciding how to spend their entertainment dollars. So what if we took the admission fee out of the equation? Those non-visitors might be more willing to visit you, your exhibits and gift shop in the months and years to come. If a family of four didn't have to pay admission then the advantage for your museum could be even greater. American Express is dedicated to supporting the arts. With that in mind, American Express is launching "Out and About" - a new Cardmember appreciation program designed to encourage American Express Cardmembers® to visit local museums. Here's how it works. Of course, the only way Cardmembers can take advantage of "Out and About" and visit your museum is if you currently accept American Express and participate in the program. Not accepting American Express currently? Just call 1-800-829-7302 for more information on accepting American Express. Partnering with American Express for this program is fast and easy. It's our way of thanking millions of valued Cardmembers and of thanking you, the museums of America, for the great work you do in your communities. American Express will create an AAM voucher entitling the Cardmember to four museum passes. All you need to do is accept the passes and mail them to us to receive a reimbursement for 75% of the ticket price. Momentum is quickly building on "Out and About," so please sign up for participation in the program no later than August 24, 2007. If you have any questions about the promotion, please contact bpilson@aam-us.org. |
