Re: The Japan Foundation Traveling
Exhibitions
Dear Member of American Association of Museums in southeast,
The Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta is
pleased to offer you the opportunity to partner with our office and the Japan
Foundation to bring special exhibit from Japan to your museum between April
2011 and March 2012.
These exhibits are available to you completely free of charge, including
round-trip shipping and insurance to and from your museum. The expenses you
would be responsible for include your venue fee, advertising, security, display
cases and the reception with related fees if any.
Please note that we cannot provide logistical support in terms of unpacking,
displaying, or repacking the crates. Details on the available exhibits
are as follows.

Unfortunately, Tokyo
had given us a very tight deadline by which to respond, so if you are
interested in hosting one of these exhibits, please contact me as soon as possible
by ranking the above exhibits in order of preference and letting me know your
available time frame. While we cannot guarantee procurement of your first
choice as these exhibits are traveling and need to be coordinated with other
museums, we will do our best to keep your preferences in mind.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at wil@cgjapanatlanta.org
or 404-926-3022.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
