{Collins} Re: Equipment classification

The vultures are out there and they will continue doing whatever it takes to
make a quick buck. It is really bad at the local hamfests here in Eastern
PA. But this even occurs on the Sunday 20m Collins net out in the open.
(This Sunday there was an especially sickening incident.) As an opinion, not
directed at the Collins net specifically, I am from the old school in that I
don't believe there should be buy and sell ads going on via ham (that is,
amateur) radio. This used to be illegal... why the change in philosophy?

There is no substitute for being aware. By the way - considering the weight
on the Johnson KW, the owner should pay to have it taken away !
