{Collins} Re: update on repair Collins KWM-2 dial




Jim:

Basically what happened was the pinch washers that are
located on the dial shaft became loose on my KWM-2 , due to the breaking of
the rivet(can be seen by looking at the top  washer). And mixing a small
amount of the J-B
Weld and applying to the top  pinch washer where its
attached to the shaft secures this top washer  and prevents slippage.
Probably any good epoxy glue
will work ok.
