burnishing: well burnishing tools seem to have disappeared!!  however one
thing that works fairly good (if you can freely access the area) is common
toothpaste. you can apply it on a tounge depresser and rub it back and
forth.  we used toothpaste in the machine shop for years to polish aluminum
parts to a mirror finish..  not familiar with the area you are trying to get
to so I don't know if this will help!!
also jewelers files are extremely fine and thin.
