{Collins} Re: KWS-1 PS Cover Info

You are missing several things. The first is the non-standard sized rubber
grommets that go in the two large holes on the bottom of the power supply
floor. These may have been pushed out and you might find them trapped in
the fiberglass batting underneath the cabinet (that's where I actually found
mine). If you don't find them there, you can check out McMaster -Carr (also
a source for ANYTHING ELSE you will ever need for anything) for a rubber
grommet that has a small central hole and the proper deminsions for the hole
in the chassis floor. You will not find the proper size grommet at Radio
Shack or elsewhere. Secondly, you are missing the "pins" that attach
through the bottom lip of the front door held in place by 6-32 screws.
Those pins must be fabricated. (ANYBODY KNOW OF A SOURCE?) They are nothing
more than a 6-32 nut that has had its outer flat faces turned off so that
you are left with essentially a cylinder with its inside tapped for a 6-32
screw. Finally, you need a fiber washer between the pin and the door lip in
order to center the door within the power supply door opening. Hope that
this info helps you.
