{Collins} Re: Restoring a 32V-3

I concur with Roy's comments. Howard just recently restored my Gold Dust
Twins and 312A-1 speaker. I tuck them in at night and this winter they
will have flannel sheets. You may be able to have the front panel and
cabinet restored by Howard and do the electronics yourself or done
locally if the expertise is available. Howard, I believe has restored
front panels available, you may want to drop him an email. The 32V-3 is
a heavyweight so air freight or as excess baggage on your next trip, or
a family members trip to the US may be an option, but pricey. Howard
lives about an hour plus west of Washington D.C. Believe me, Howard's
work is tops. Where there's a will, there's a way... good luck in
getting it across the pond. Maybe a trip to see D.C. is the vacation
plans....

Send your cabinet to Howard Mills with money to get it re-finished.

There is a problem with this, however. The result is SOOO good and SOOOO

nice and SOOO perfect looking it will put all your other stuff to shame
and
you'll be looking for the money to refinish every other Collins item you

may have.

(I see you are in some very far away place, so it may not be practical
for
you.)
