{Collins} Re: Need copper/brass tuning belt for 75S-1

I used brass shim stock (10 thou) for a similar band on my 51S1.

I believe the real bands are copper with a beryllium coating.
You can a sheet of this from Small Parts Inc. http://www.smallparts.com/

Subject: {Collins} Need copper/brass tuning belt for 75S-1

I apologize if this request appears twice.
I sent the group an email yesterday and did not see it posted.

I really need the brass/copper tuning belt (About 4+ inches by 1/2 inch)
that moves the tuning bracketfor the RF/ANT/OSC tuning slugs on my 75S-1
receiver. It has broken (with a little help from me). There are two of
these belts, attached to the "metal tube".

I'm sure I must not be the only one that has broken these things. Does
anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Sooner or later I'll get this 75S-1 working.

  Thanks for any help guys!
